Synopsis
An Honest Liar tells the story of James "The Amazing" Randi, the world-renowned magician and escape artist who dedicated much of his life to publicly exposing psychics, faith healers, and con artists who used magicians' tricks to defraud the credulous. The film also explores Randi's 25-year relationship with his partner, José Alvarez, and a startling deception in Randi's own life that complicates the line between honest trickery and betrayal.
