Synopsis
ImillaSkate is an Indigenous female skate collective based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, bonded by a shared commitment to reclaiming their heritage. Adopting the traditional pollera skirt as a symbol of Aymara and Quechua pride, the young women challenge gender stereotypes in a machismo society while working to build a skatepark and community center to inspire the next generation of girls.
